Litmus Blue Paper

Blue litmus paper is a pH indicator strip treated with a natural lichen dye used exclusively to detect acidic substances.  It is a quick, visual tool: when dipped into an acidic solution, the paper turns from blue to red. If the solution is neutral or basic, the paper remains blue.
