With continuously adjustable time and power parameters, it fulfills multiple functions including cell/tissue disruption, emulsification, separation, dispersion, extraction, cleaning, and chemical reaction acceleration. Ultrasonic Homogenizer (Digital Ultrasonicator)
The SCIENTZ-IID Digital Ultrasonicator is engineered to handle sample volumes ranging from 100μl to 600ml, with continuously adjustable ultrasonic time and power. It excels in disrupting various plant/animal tissues, cells, and bacteria, while also supporting emulsification, separation, dispersion, extraction, and chemical reaction acceleration. Standard-equipped with a titanium alloy transducer, it outperforms conventional transducers with higher energy conversion efficiency, superior stability, enhanced durability, and suitability for long-duration operations.
Working Principle
The device operates based on the cavitation effect of ultrasound in liquids. The transducer converts electrical energy into high-intensity shear force at the tip of the tool head via an amplitude transformer, generating high-frequency alternating water pressure. Cell disruption is achieved through the expansion and implosion of cavitation bubbles induced by this pressure. Additionally, the intense disturbance caused by ultrasonic propagation in liquids significantly accelerates particle movement, leading to collisions between particles or with container walls-further realizing disruption, emulsification, and separation effects.
